New Zealand will begin an investigation regarding allegations that its intelligence service monitored the electronic communications of its citizens in the Pacific region.
The move comes after reports this month stated that the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) used electronic surveillance to spy on its citizens the Pacific and passed this information to American spy agency.
